ABOUT THE SPEAKERS Jiancheng Jiang is the managing partner at Peksung Intellectual Property (IP) Ltd., a firm that he founded in 2003. His area of practice includes: patent application drafting; prosecution and reexamination; patent invalidation; licensing and transfer; strategy in intellectual property matters, in main technical fields, particularly in the fields of biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and organic chemistry. Prior to founding Peksung IP Ltd., he practiced IP law at China Patent Agent (HK) Ltd., where was the assistant general manager responsible for all patent-related affairs. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Peking University and a Masters of Science from the Chinese Academy of Science in Beijing. He has studied patent law in Europe and the U.S. Currently, he is studying for his LLM at the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), Beijing, China. Tingxi Huo
joined Peksung Intellectual Property Ltd. in 2004 where he specializes
in trademark prosecution, opposition, cancellation and infringement before
the Chinese Trademark Office (CTMO) and the Trademark Reexamination and
Adjudication Board. He also consults on corporate trademark strategy,
copyright protection and trademark prosecution in Hong Kong. Prior to
joining Peksung Intellectual Property Ltd., he practiced Chinese and Hong
Kong IP law at China Patent Agent (HK) Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Arts
from Henan University and is studying for his LLM at the China University
of Political Science and Law in Beijing. |
