1- Email Broadcast Listing
This service is available to OCRI Corporate Members only. The type of information we send is upcoming events/courses etc. that are technology related. If there is a cost to attend your event, we ask that you offer OCRI members a discount of at least 25%.
The cost for one announcement is $250 plus HST. The electronic mailing is sent to over 4,000 individuals on our database. We also list the announcement on our website under “Members’ Events” until the event date has passed. We schedule our broadcast for every other Tuesday. The broadcast consists of up to a maximum of 12 announcements.
The order of placement in the broadcast is based on first come first placed basis. If you are interested in using this member service, please contact Alex Pugh at 828-6274 x266 or email alexp@ocri.ca to book your spot for the next available space.
NOTE: We do not take “blanket” bookings, only one booking at at time.
We ask that the content is sent in a Word document file (.doc) with no bold, italics etc. if possible. Content is due no later than the Thursday prior.

One-two very short paragraphs (3-4 lines), very briefly, describing your event with a contact person for further information. The total length of your listing should be no longer than 100 words.
Please include your website address so that information can be obtained from your site. The URL’s will be set up as a live link in the body of your message.
2- Email Broadcast Banner Ad
Target your audience with banner advertising.
OCRI is pleased to offer our members an opportunity to place a banner ad in our bi-weekly Member’s Email Broadcast. Customized promotions built around your brand or a special event can offer you high-visibility placement and a fantastic opportunity to quickly showcase your offerings. Broadcasts are distributed every other Tuesday. The bi-weekly broadcast has a circulation to over 4,000. Ad graphics must be delivered to OCRI no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to distribution.
The following are the guidelines for online ads:
- One ad space will be allotted to each broadcast.
- In order to allow as many members as possible the opportunity to take advantage of this promotional opportunity, members will be allowed an ad once every two months in the bi-weekly broadcast.
- This service is available to OCRI corporate members only on a first come, first served basis.
- Ads must be 600 pixels in width and no greater than 144 pixels in height and must be submitted in gif or jpeg format (72 dpi). Animated gifs or Flash animation are not acceptable.
- Acceptability of all advertising is at the discretion of OCRI.
Rate is $500 per insertion. Price does not include HST.
